Nettie (Britton) Northway June 5, 1937 - - - April 23, 2007 Nettie A. Northway, 69, Brainerd, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. She was born on June 5, 1937, in Brainerd to Clifford and Nellie (Hoskins) Britton. She married Walter Northway on June 30, 1956, in Vallejo, Calif. She was a Crow Wing County Fair coordinator for awards. She is survived by her children, Walter Northway Jr., of Brainerd, Theressa (Richard) Romine, of Camarilla, Calif., Kathleen (Stephen) Cloner, Christine Warner, Marian Northway, all of Brainerd; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Larry, Jack, Robert, Patsy, Audrey, Sally, Susan and Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 1995. Services will be held Friday, April 27, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Bob Twiton officiating. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
